CAESAR II
Caesar II is a program used to analyze the flexibility and stresses caused by temperature and pressure within a piping system. It allows the creation of a piping routing model and the definition of various load conditions.
Once the modeling is completed and the inputs are provided (temperature, pressure, seismic gravity acceleration, flow medium, etc.), the software produces results such as displacements, loads, and stresses at each node of the system. These results can then be compared with the limits set by major industry standards to ensure the designed piping is suitable for operation.
Caesar II is therefore used for the mechanical design of new piping systems or the redesign of existing ones where issues have been identified over time due to high expansions, pressure, seismic effects, or material deterioration.
